Updating of education content – obligatoriness of time

Modern Kazakhstan society is characterized by social modernization and inclusion in the world integration processes, where the leading position is oc- cupied by education. N.A. Nazarbayev, the president of the country, sets a high
enough level for the national education. Education should be competitive, of high-quality, so that graduates of the Kazakh school could easily continue their studies in foreign universities.
The introduction of the general education school in three languages into the teaching and educational process is certainly a significant step forward in the implementation of the State Programme for the Development of Education in the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2019, one of the core competencies of which are trilingualism, Eurasian multiculturalism, communicativeness.
Today, the teacher has ceased to be the only source of information for the students, and it must be admitted that pupils are often superior to teachers in the ability to use ICT and Internet resources. Therefore, new tools and ap- proaches are needed for the training and development of the ability to reflect, understand, analyze, for the development of practical skills. This is facilitated by courses on the updated content of education.
From 17-28 September, 2018, the Center of Excellence of AEO «Naz- arbayev Intellectual Schools» has organized courses for the training of the teachers of Universities in the framework of updating the content of secondary education in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The purpose of the training courses is to familiarize the teachers, who work in the field of teacher training, with the content of improved secondary education in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Within the framework of the courses, educators are introduced to the new model of the education system, the content of the curricula and discuss new approaches in teaching.
The course retraining on new approaches in education has proved that society is developing at a rapid pace and requires flexibility from the teach- er, the ability to perceive and accept innovation, readiness for change. I was convinced that today the teacher should be not only a source of knowledge, but also an active participant in the educational process.
